The Sea Beam multibeam echo sounder
collects bathymetric and side scan data in deep sea over a wide swath of up
to 140 degrees.
The system is fully real time compensated for roll, pitch and yaw to guarantee full data coverage even under severe environmental conditions. The implemented swept beam technology is superior to any other real time motion compensation technology available on the market. It offers full ocean depth performance of 11,000m and still gives 110 degrees of fan width giving a sea floor coverage of 31km
