Real time calculation of sensor(s) GPS position (layback) is performed using either special 'dragging' algorithm. This multi-position data is stored and/or transferred via RS-232 or Ethernet. All data is recorded in lat/long or X,Y, format for easy analysis and contouring.

Above is a typical screen from MagLog, which shows a magnetic anomaly on the left hand screen and on the right hand screen a survey plot of the current run and previous runs showing previous anomalies flagged. The operator can set a formula which will identify anomalies as they are recorded in real time, alternatively they can be flagged manually by the operator
