Geomatrix regularly undertakes research and development projects, either on its own behalf or as a service to our customers to fill gaps which existing products do not quite meet, or to meet clients special requirements
Example projects undertaken include:
- Development of a marine magnetic gradiometer power and signal conditioner to enable multiple marine magnetometers to be connected together and supplying stabilised voltage rails for all connected magnetometers and accessories.
- Magnetometer test box, capable of testing marine magnetometers, tow systems and power supplies for easing fault location problems when magnetometers are deployed offshore.
- Custom underwater terminations for special applications, particularly in magnetic gradiometer applications.
- Marine transverse gradiometer frame.
- Geophysical Exploration Equipment Platform (GEEP) developed in association with The University of Leicester.
