Complete Software Packages: We can offer a complete software package to cover all your system requirements, from data collection to interpretation and presentation and data-logging interface software, all with full technical back-up.
Instrument Packages: Whether your requirements is for one instrument or a suite of equipment we can design a system to meet your specifications. To date available options have included DGPS, towed vehicle, and remote monitoring. Again full technical support is only a phone call away.
Training: Whether a newcomer or experienced geophysicist, personal training will ensure that you achieve the maximum from the hardware and software. We can offer training packages in-house at our location 30 miles from London and within an hour of three international airports. Our location ensures on-site training over known geological features. We also provide training at your premises or site both in the UK and Internationally.

The WEEE Directive
The WEEE directive which is an European Union directive seeks to eradicate potentially hazardous materials from electronic and electrical goods supplied, and ensures that when such goods come to the end of their useful life, that they are disposed of and recycled according to best environmental practice.
Geomatrix is please to announce that we are registerred with the relevant authorities, as a supplier of electronic goods under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directives (2002/96/EC) and 2003/108/EC in the UK – the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006.
This imposes a considerable cost on our company, because of:
a) We have to pay a (large) registration fee – considering the small volume of actual ‘supplies’ we make per year
b) We have to keep copious records of what we supply.
c) We have to “take back” all goods we have ever sold since the company formation, and bear the costs of its legal disposal (see (f)
d) If we offer goods in part exchange, we have to do the same with the equipment you are exchanging
e) We have to pay a surcharge per kg of old equipment disposed of per year
We have no choice but to pass these costs on to our customers, so we will be adding a small percentage on to our quotes to in addition to inbound freight, customs clearance costs and EU import duty.
Note, the WEEE directive is European Union wide
If you choose to buy any goods direct from an overseas supplier, the liability for its legal disposal then falls with you, which does not mean taking it to the local dump, or lake, so there is a liability there, which you will face. If you purchase through a legal representative, then then you as an end user do not have this liability.
