Unshielded Antennas

Unshielded AntennasMala unshielded antennas are low frequency antennas used for applications requiring maximum depth penetration and where cultural noise or spurious emissions from the antennas is not a problem. Unshielded antennas allow maximum penetration depth.

25, 50, 100 and 200 MHz antennas are available.

All Mala unshielded antenna use interchangeable electronics, digital length meters, antenna handles and controller. The antennas are light weight and made for one man operation. Antenna separation in flexible enabling CMP data collection for velocity analysis.

Available Antenna
  • 25 MHz, for use where the deepest possible penetration is required.
  • 50 MHz commonly used in geological and deep geotechnical applications.
  • 100 MHz general purpose antenna with broad applications, uses include surveys for river, landfill, karst, lake bottom bedrock detection.
  • 200 MHz Midrange penetration with good resolution. Compact size allow use in vegetated terrain.
