Utility Detection
Utility detection with the Mala GPR family is made easy by combining the Mala shielded antenna, the new rugged rough terrain cart and the Innovative easy to use Mala monitor.
The picture here shows an operator with a rough terrain cart equipped with a Mala Monitor X3M controller and a 250 MHz shielded antenna. The system is self contained with its own battery power supply. During operation the data acquisition is controlled by an odometer which controls the commencement and cessation of data acquisition, and enables precise location of utilities.
A GPS unit can be interfaced to the Mala GPR for precise data location.
