Geomatrix Ltd will be exhibiting at the Prediction and Assessment of Ground and Structure Borne Vibration and Groundborne Noise conference on the 3rd of July 2025. Our Geophysics Director Matthew Guy will be giving a presentation on Active source surface wave analyses for ground stiffness assessment and will be providing a demonstration with the lightning seismic vibrator source. The event will highlight the ground structure bourne vibration issues arising from urban development challenge for acoustics. Temporary effects which arise from demolition, construction activities, piling and tunnelling. Also challenges associated when existing buildings share a party wall with a redevelopment site will be shown. Academics and professionals will showcase how they are tackling / plan to tackle these issues.
