Hosted Events Terms and Conditions

1. Fees

All course fees are payable before commencement of the course date, unless agreed otherwise. All fees are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate. Course fees must be received prior to the course start date.

2. Cancellation and Substitution Fees

Once a firm course booking has been made and an order acknowledged issued in writing (via post or email), any cancellation or amendment requests must be received by Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd in writing no less than 5 days prior to the course start date. The best way to achieve this is by emailing sales@geomatrix.co.uk.

Cancellations will be charged at 100% of the course fee unless Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd is able to fill the delegates place or if the course date can be rearranged. If Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd have incurred other costs which cannot be cancelled (e.g. Hotels, flights etc.) these will be charged in full irrespective of when the course is cancelled. Substitute delegates will be accepted free of charge. If course documentation has already been sent to the client, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the replacement delegate receives this documentation.

3. Training Course Pre-Requisites

It is the responsibility of the person or organisation making the booking to ensure that delegates meet any specified course pre-requisites.

4. Cancellation of Courses by Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd

Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd reserves the right to cancel courses if insufficient candidates are available to make the running of the course viable. We shall do our utmost to avoid this wherever possible and make arrangements to hold the course on an alternative date. In the event Geomatrix Earth Science Ltd has to cancel a course the course fee will be refunded minus any bank charges.
