A new cable counter designed to accurately record and measure paid out cable lengths; designed to neatly fit on the side of a large winch and precisely measure the cable length with dependable results. The data is transmitted over USB to a windows PC running the user-friendly software and displayed in real time. This software is also transferable from the PC to multiple formats, ensuring system compatibility and applications. Powered entirely by solar energy the system is sustainable with prolonged lifespan, eliminating the unreliability associated with battery discharge; reducing downtime. Accommodates 14” and 20” cable bend radius and the manufacturer is able to custom wheel diameters and groove widths upon request to integrate cables with varying diameters.

Internal Li batteries are contained inside of the unit and external solar power plates are on the outside chassis - power driven by solar power for sustainable use.
433/915 MHz frequencies to transmit data via wireless connection up to 300m away from the counter to the data logger device.
0.25 unit precision with units displayed in meters or feet depending on user preference
has inbuilt anti-jump ensuring the cable stays in place when reeling (under tension/slack).
Data serial output RS232/USB for use in SonarWiz, Hypack and can be integrated into Maglog
Acquisition software is windows compatible showing real-time length and speed.
